Allana Ferguson bio
Allana began her career with Australia in Rugby Sevens back in 2013. After suffering numerous knee injuries throughout the years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana was the first woman to make her debut in rugby league against Queensland in New South Wales. Allana is also a radio player on her CV, and has made regular appearances on the 2GB's highest-rated Continuous Call Team. Allana holds a professional teaching certification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson is the only Australia player to represent Australia in rugby sevens and in rugby league as well as touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos football player who was in the rugby league for a number of years, has had to end her career early after she tore her ACL for the fourth time. The 25-year-old had previously torn the ligament at the same knee while she was between the ages of 15 and 17 and following a 4th tear, this meant that Ferguson's playing time was over. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker, has been removed from the team early after suffering an ACL tear in the left side for the fourth time. Ferguson suffered an injury in November in a practice session. The Courier Mail confirmed the announcement this week. Ferguson has been the woman's representative in the women's league for the past couple of seasons.
